The College of Applied Science, Kuthuparamba was established in September 2000 and started functioning in March 2001 initially with two degree courses i.e. B.Sc Computer Science and B.Sc Electronics affiliated      to Kannur University with intake of 25 seats in each course under semester scheme. B.Com with Computer Application and two PG courses M.Sc Electronics and M.Sc Computer Science with intake of 40 for degree and 20 seats each for PG respectively were additionally started in 2011.
